Abbott Point of Care (APOC) is focused on Fast, Portable, Accurate and Affordable diagnostic testing, to help improve the quality of care and overall patient experience.

At Abbott, we are open to all good ideas that advance medical and scientific knowledge utilizing APOC products in real world settings. Topics of interest include evaluation of the clinical, operational & economic value of the i-STAT System across hospital departments and outpatient settings.

The decision to support an Investigator Sponsored Study (ISS) will be made with consideration of the following:

Scientific merit
Ethical considerations
Regulatory status of product in country of use
Alignment with business strategy
Funding availability
